Lotus Leaf Lamp
Year: 2021
Upon receiving an invitation from my friend Nguyen Ngoc Quynh Giao, I joined the project. Inspired by the request from Ecolotus, a company specializing in dried lotus leaves, to create a lamp for their upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival gift set, our design team embarked on a journey to explore the potential of this unique natural material.
With an open mindset, we continuously experimented and broke conventional boundaries by combining lotus leaves with various materials while utilizing their natural translucency.
Through these experiences, we aim to honor the natural beauty and optimize the sustainable properties of lotus leaves, transforming them into an endless source of inspiration for design.
